what the world needs now is love sweet love

I've heard people ask why we need a holiday as an excuse to show our love, but my question is why don't we have more holidays that are excuses to love. Maybe we DO need reminders about how important it is to love (and be loved). I mean, look at the other holidays we have; Easter to remember to worship bunnies, July 4th to remember to love fireworks and freedoms, Labor day to remember to love work (who thought of that one I wonder?), Memorial day to remember to remember, birthdays to remember you're older and what about Christmas? Something about presents I think.

Anyway, there should be a Valentine's Day once a month. How could it hurt to have another love-based holiday (or eleven more)? Who would complain? People who don't like love I guess. Go figure.

And the love you take is equal to the love you make.
